New Years celebrations:
Ring in the New Year locally - check out these New Years celebrations going on in Eldersburg:

*Liberatore’s Ristorante

Liberatore’s Eldersburg is pulling out all the stops. New Year’s party guests will be given a full course dinner with choices of lobster and shrimp scampi, filet mignon, veal and crabmeat. Refreshments include beer, wine and mixed drinks. At midnight they will have a champagne toast, complete with party accessories such as noise makers and hats.

There will be a DJ present, first playing dinner music until 11:30, then dance music from 11:30 until the party ends. To top it off, Liberatores will have a breakfast buffet at 1 a.m. Party at little too hardy? The restaurant is offering free shuttles home to anyone who lives in the 21784 zip code. Cost for the entire event is $115.00 per person. For groups of eight or more the price is reduced to $100 per person.

The restaurant will be serving dinner form 4 to 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Chef Nicholas Smith designed a specialty dinner for the evening.

New restaurant:
Eldersburg is going to get another restuarant specializing in Mexican cuisine. Qdoba Mexican Grill is going to take over the empty space where Hollywood Video used to be. This makes it Eldersburg's third Mexican restuarant, the others being La Fiesta and Plazuelas. Read more

KFC cutting down the menu:
Kentucky Fried Chicken in Eldersburg will no longer be serving A&W products such as french fries and hamburgers because of decreased interest among Eldersburg residents. Read more
