canineSheriff’s Office Investigates Bomb Threat

Eldersburg, Carroll County, Maryland, November 20, 2012 ----At approximately 9:30am, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Crime Scene Technician, and Explosive Detection Canine responded to Liberty High School, located at 5855 Bartholow Road, Eldersburg, for a bomb threat. The threat was a written on a wall of the school.

Upon their arrival, the building had already been evacuated under the direction of school officials. A thorough search of the building was conducted by Canine Units from both the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police. At approximately 10:53am, the building was reopened to students and staff.
