Apparently having a Carnival in Eldersburg that doesn’t benefit the local volunteer fire department is creating quite a controversy.  Within hours of the carnival’s owners beginning to set up on the parking lot behind Eldersburg Mall, a facebook group was established called, Boycott Carrolltown Carnival!!!”  That’s right…

Carnival season is getting an early start this year at Carrolltown Mall, beginning this Friday, April 8th at 6:00 p.m.  As of Wednesday morning, carnival workers were busy unloading machinery, setting up gates, putting together rides, and generally setting up what looks like a lot of fun for the next few weeks.
