demolitionAccording to Assistant Secretary Bart Thomas, the Henryton State Hospital could be set to be demolished as soon as May.  The building that has become a target for ghost stories and a canvas for graffiti has both asbestos and lead paint in it.  The location has been vacant since 1985.  The Maryland Department of General Services will be accepting bids from contractors for demolition services.
