Carrolltowne Elementary Donates Close to 1,000 Books
October 30, 2008

Carrolltowne Elementary completed their annual 'One for Books' drive and will be donating nearly 1,000 books to the Human Services Programs of Carroll County. Board books, picture books, chapter books, other children's books and adult novels will be donated to the Human Services Programs' holiday fair, Second Chances program and various shelters.

Students brought in small donations and new or gently used books to donate to this program from October 20-28. This is the PTA's third year coordinating the book drive. Some books and donations are still being collected and PTA members and students hope to bring the books to the Human Services Programs office by next week.
