Well, a new restaurant has opened in Eldersburg and you know what that means…The WHOLE town is going to go and check it out. The opening of Glory Days Grill is the biggest thing to happen to Eldersburg since Arby’s opened its doors in February 2007. However, Glory Days is one of the most unique places to open so far.

Glory Days Grill is Eldersburg’s first REAL sports bar. The restaurant features 31 brand new televisions, 27 of which feature sports channels from all the major sports packages such as NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA. For the most part, Glory Days likes to consider itself a family-oriented restaurant, therefore 2 of their TVs feature cartoons for kids and 2 feature news channels. The restaurant also offers $5 burgers all day on Mondays and free pint glasses with the purchase of a pint or tall beer on Tuesdays from 7pm-10pm.

After 9pm is when the restaurant turns into Eldersburg’s newest spot for nightlife. Whereas Glory Days is a family restaurant, “(Glory Days) welcomes more of a hipper, drinking crowd”, says Managing Partner Dave Kohn. “We’ve been open a little less than a week and we’ve been very successful”.
