Pizza has long been regarded as one of the few dishes that everyone can agree on, but with over ten different places to get pizza in Eldersburg, it’s tough to find one place everyone likes. Every shop has their own style of crust, sauce, cheese consistency, toppings – each one is unique and eventually people find that they like one pizza place more than the others. Even though it might not be everyone’s favorite, Pizza Hut is a happy medium for group outings, parties, or just a fresh carry-out.

Located off Rt. 32 and MacBeth, Pizza Hut is a clean, family-friendly bistro for a plethora of pizza and assorted tasty side items. The interior is warm and inviting, with a fire in the middle of the dining room. Tables with comfortable chairs and cozy booths are both available (unless it’s a busy night), and service is always prompt, kind, and check back regularly. Occasionally, the store managers will stop by tables and introduce themselves.

The carry-out lobby is small and not as tidy as the dining room, but it’s expected with all the foot traffic it gets. All pizzas are made to order, so there is a fifteen to twenty minute wait after you place your order if it’s not too busy. If it’s taking too long, one of the staff usually offers a drink and a sincere apology. When you receive your carry-out order, the Pizza Hut employee will open the pizza box top to show you for approval before you pay for it.

And of course, the pizza is delicious. The pan pizza with its thick crust and perfectly melted cheese is a favorite, great for refrigerating and heating up the next day. The baked cinnamon sticks are scrumptious as well, highly recommended as an after-pizza snack. The two are very complementary, but maybe not so complementary for your diet. If you are trying to watch what you eat, try the “fit’ndelicious” menu, with offerings as low as 150 calories a slice.

If you’re having a party, they’ll help set up and cater to your needs. Like many other places, Pizza Hut now has an online ordering system, but you have to sign up. The prices are just as reasonable, making a dinner at the Hut a very enjoyable experience.
