Occupation: Sales Executive at Marsh, the world’s largest risk & insurance broker
Short bio: I was born in DC and grew up in Potomac, MD (Montgomery County). I went to the University of Maryland at College Park and majored in business. I’ve lived in Maryland all my life and have been in sales and the insurance brokerage business for over 20 years all in the Washington & Baltimore markets.

On the personal side, my wife Elizabeth and I will have been married for 15 years this November and have 3 wonderful kids (a boy and two girls) ages 12, 10 & 6. There’s no more fulfilling job to me than being a parent.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had an interest in government, public planning, policy and politics. I believe strongly in community activism and civic responsibility and been involved in community activities with the Freedom Area Citizens’ Council (FACC). I’ve served on the FACC’s board since 2000 and as its President from 2002-2004.
